Hello!

Objectives for the week of

November 13 – November 19

Science:

Eby: We are having a vocabulary quiz on Chapter 8 tomorrow (this was moved from Tuesday). Our Chapter 8 Test will be Wednesday. Don't forget Science Fair topic sheets are due tomorrow!

Hammond: We are continuing the Measuring Time Kit this week. We learned how ancient cultures told time before clocks and watches. The students made sundials and water clocks similar to the ones created by Ancient Egyptians.

Math: ThinkLink Testing will be next Thursday!

Keckley:Students will continue study of comparison of fractions, decimals, and percent. A quiz will be given next Wednesday covering these skills.

Jorgensen: Test Monday over equivalent forms of fractions, decimals, and percents. Students should study both of their foldables for the test. Wish List: Graph Paper!

Social Studies:

Campbell: We are beginning Unit 2 and are currently working on Chapter 4. We will have a test by mid next week.

Clarke:We had a Chapter 4 Test today. Look for graded tests to go home tomorrow and test corrections due on Monday. Ms. Saenger will begin Chapter 5 - Greek Civilization on Monday.

Language Arts: ThinkLink Testing will be next Thursday!

Gascon: We are studying nouns… common/proper, plural, & possessive.

Orth: We are working on possessive nouns.
